West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s lacrosse picked up their first win of the season, beating Sussex CCC 16-10 in their final home game of the year. Freshman Owen McAdams (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) led the Vikings with five goals and sophomore Braden Travaglini (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) had four goals and three assists. Sophomore Izzy Miranda (Tampa, FL/Tampa Catholic) had four goals, picked up 14 groundballs and won 19 face offs in the win.
Freshman Nolan Halloran (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) had two assists and picked up seven groundballs and and freshman Ashani Harvey (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Calabar HS) scored two goals. Freshman Shaquon Sullivan (Kingston, Jamaica/Calabar HS) added one goal, two assists and picked up four groundballs in the win. Freshman goalie Trevor Malik (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 16 saves in the win.
The Vikings final game of the season is vs CCBC-Essex at CCBC-Dundalk at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s lacrosse (0-10) was shut out by Williamson Trade 0-14. Freshman goalie Trevor Malik (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 29 saves in the loss. Sophomore Izzy Miranda (Tampa, FL/Tampa Catholic) picked up 13 groundballs, freshman Shaquon Sullivan (Kingston, Jamaica/Calbar HS) picked up 8 groundballs and freshman Liam Halloran (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) picked up 6 groundballs in the loss.
The Vikings next host Sussex CCC (1-6) in their final home game of the season on Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00 PM.

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s lacrosse (0-7) lost to Del Tech 8-12. Sophomore Braden Travaglini (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) and freshman Owen McAdams (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) each had three goals in the loss. Freshman Ashani Harvey (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Calabar HS) added two goals in the losing effort.

Bel Air, MD-Mercer men’s lacrosse fell to 0-3 following a 2-27 loss at #1 ranked Harford Community College (2-0), the 2023 National Champion. Sophomores Theo DeBerghes (Howell, NJ/Howell HS) and Braden Travaglini (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) each had a goal in the loss. Sophomore Izzy Miranda (Tampa, FL/Tampa Catholic) had six ground balls and freshman goalie Trevor Malik (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 23 saves in the loss.
Mercer will look for their first win of the 2024 season when they travel to Williamson Trade for a 7:00 PM game on Wednesday, March 13th.

Robbinsville, NJ-Mercer men’s lacrosse opened the 2024 season with a 6-10 loss vs Hudson Valley CC (1-0) in a game played at Robbinsville High School due to electrical issues at Mercer’s turf.
The Vikings got two goals apiece from sophomore Braden Travaglini (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) and freshman Ashani Harvey (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Calabar HS). Sophomore Theo DeBerghes (Howell, NJ/Howell HS) had an goal and an assist and freshman Nolan Hollaran (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) added an assist in the loss.
The Vikings next face #2 ranked Nassau CC (0-0) in a 6:00 PM game on Wednesday, March 6th.
