Randolph, NJ-Mercer men’s basketball (13-12) ended their regular season with a 63-78 loss at County College of Morris (19-6). Sophomore Jason Mark (Broward, FL/Blanche Ely HS) had his eight double double, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Isham McClain (Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton HS) had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists and sophomore Izaiah Johnson (Burlington, NJ/Burlington City) added 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the loss. Sophomore Anthony Rhodes (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 6 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds and sophomore Kristian Smith (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) added 6 points in the loss.
The Vikings will enter the Region 19 Playoffs as the #4 seed and travel to #1 seed Raritan Valley CC (22-6) for a 7:00 PM game on Tuesday, February 27th . This will be the first time the Vikings have qualified for the Region playoffs since the 2018-2019 season.
