West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s basketball (8-10) fell to Raritan Valley CC (17-5) 76-84 on Academic Achievement and Cancer Awareness Night. Sophomore Izaiah Johnson (Burlington, NJ/Burlington City) led the Vikings with 21 points and 7 rebounds and sophomore Jason Mark (Broward, FL/Blanche Ely HS) added 11 points in the loss. Freshman Joe Lemly (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 9 points and 5 rebounds and freshman Jayson Love (Philadelphia, PA/Academy at Palumbo) added 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
Sophomore Isham McClain (Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton HS) had 7 points and 5 rebounds and freshman Darius Bland (Willingboro, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) added 7 points and 4 rebounds in the loss.
The Vikings next travel to SUNY Orange (16-4) for a 1:00 PM game on Saturday, January 27th.
