West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball opened their series vs Del Tech with a 10-0 win. Sophomore Jake Pope went 2 for 4 with two doubles and 2 RBIs and freshman Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) had a home run and 2 RBIs. Freshman Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) had 2 RBIs and two stolen bases and sophomore Ryan Leary (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) had a home run and RBI. Sophomore Owen Friddell (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) went 2 for 4 with an RBI and sophomore Donny Gallagher (Stockton, NJ/South Hunterdon) had a double and RBI. Sophomore pitcher allowed 0 esrned runs in eight innings for the win.
