Sewell, NJ-Mercer baseball (27-17) lost to #2 ranked RCSJ-Gloucester (34-7) 2-14 in seven innings. Sophomore Ryan Ulisse (Columbus, NJ/Holy Cross) had a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Jake Pope (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 3 for 4 in the loss. Sophomore pitcher Vincent Mazzilli (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional) allowed no earned runs in 1.2 innings of relief.
The Vikings next travel to Cecil College (10-28) for a 1:00 PM doubleheader on Wednesday, April 24th.
