West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball (25-14) lost to RCSJ Cumberland (16-11) 8-12. Sophomore Dylan Pope (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had a double and 2 RBIs and freshman Jake Pope (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) also had 2 RBIs in the loss. Freshman Shane Hickey (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) went 2 for 4 with two doubles and sophomore Joe Giori (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 4 with a double and two runs.
Sophomore Andew Glatt (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown HS) was 2 for 4 with an RBI and sophomore Torin McKenzie (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) added an RBI. Freshman pitcher JJ Casey (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor South) allowed 0 runs over three innings in the loss.
The Vikings next travel to #4 ranked Brookdale (30-4-1) for a 3:00 game on Wednesday, April 17th.
