West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball (23-8-1) lost 9-4 to Monroe University (14-17) in Game 1 of their doubleheader. Sophomore Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBIs. Sophomores Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) and Kevin Stewart (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) each had an RBI in the loss.
