West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball (3-2) beat Brookdale (2-1) 3-1 in a nine-inning single game. Sophomore Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) went 2 for 4 with a home run and RBI and sophomore Mike Amrhein (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) was 2 for 4 with a double. Sophomore Lukas Mullen (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North) added an RBI in the win.
Freshman Dominick Terranova (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) struck five in four innings for his first collegiate win. Sophomore starting pitcher Slade Harrill (New Egypt, NJ/Allentown) had four strikeouts in four innings and freshman Jimmy Musser (Chesterfield, NJ/Northern Burlington) got his first collegiate save.
Mercer next hosts Cecil College (4-0) in a 1:00 PM doubleheader on Tuesday, March 10th.
