Bronx, NY-Mercer baseball (8-3) dropped Game 1 of their doubleheader at Monroe College (6-10) 2-4 in seven innings. Sophomore Torin McKenzie (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) went 2 for 3 with a triple and RBI. Sophomore Joe Gmitter (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) also went 2 for 3 and sophomore Bannon Brazell (Vienna, VA/James Madison HS) added an RBI in the loss. Sophomore pitcher Ryan Migogna (Ewing, NJ/Notre Dame) had two strikeouts in two innings of relief.
