The Vikings moved to 8-0 on the season following a 9-6 Game 2 win over SUNY Westchester CC (4-2). Sophomore Joe Gmitter (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had a big day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs. Freshman Don Gallagher (Stockton, NJ/South Hunterdon) and sophomore Ryan Ulisse (Columbus, NJ/Holy Cross) each went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Freshman Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) and sophomore Bannon Brazell (Vienna, VA/James Madison HS) each added an RBI in the win.
Freshman pitcher Slade Harrill (New Egypt, NJ/Allentown) had four strikeouts in four innings and freshman Connor Parsons (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) picked up his first collegiate win.
The Vikings next travel to Harford CC (8-5) for a 1:00 PM doubleheader on Tuesday, March 5th.
