West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball moved to 6-2 on the season following a 10-5 win vs Cecil (4-2) in Game 2 of their doubleheader. Sophomore Mike Amrhein (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs and freshman Jimmy Musser (Chesterfield, NJ/Northern Burlington) was 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs. Sophomore Frandy Rodriguez (Camden, NJ/Camden Academy Charter) went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs and sophomore Kevin Stewart (Burlington, NJ/Burlingtown Township) added an RBI in the win.
Sophomore pitcher Adrian Hernandez (Trenton, NJ/Solebury School) had six strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings in the route to his first win of the season.
Mercer next travels to Myrtle Beach for a series of games starting on March 13th.
