MCCC Men's and Women's Soccer 2026 Home Games To Feature Themes and Promos

The 2026 MCCC Men’s and Women’s Soccer season will featured themed home games with music, contests and giveaways tied into the theme. The goal is to generate more interest and excitement in home games. The Athletic Department also hopes to get more attendance from both the student body and staff as well as the community.
The men’s season opens up on August 20th with a big match against Johnson County Community College from Kansas in a battle of two of the top junior college soccer programs in the country. The theme of the season opener is Come Together encouraging as many staff, students and community members as possible to pack the stands for this big game. There will be ice cream and T-Shirts for the first 200 people at the game as well as free T-shirts to the first 200 fans.
The first doubleheader of the season is on Saturday, August 29th vs Harcum, with both games having a Beach Bash theme. Come wearing your Hawaiian shirts and flip flops and get ready to enjoy some relaxing beach and ocean music and contests.
MCCC men’s soccer play again at home on Tuesday, September 1st vs Cecil, which will be a Back to School Party for the first game since the semester started. On Saturday, September 5th, the men again play at home for an End of Summer Party on Labor Day weekend.
MCCC women’s soccer host Sussex on Wed, Sept. 9th which will be a somber theme, a 9/11 Tribute, two days before the 25th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers.
The women’s and men’s teams both host Essex on Saturday, September 12th for Rivalry Day.
Mercer women host Brookdale on September 16th for Disney Day featuring Disney songs and trivia, Ocean on September 22nd for Kick Out Cancer Night and Hagerstown on Sunday, September 27th for Taylor Swift Day, featuring music and trivia tied to the pop star.
Men’s soccer hosts Ocean on September 17th for a World Cup Party, featuring music and trivia from the 2026 World Cup.
Saturday, October 17th is the day of the final regular season home games for both the men and women’s teams. In addition to being Sophomore Day to celebrate the programs’ second year players, it will also be an Early Halloween Party, so grab your costumes and get ready for a thrilling doubleheader of soccer!
