Women's Soccer Earns Bye into Region 19 Final as Top Seed

With only three teams in Division II in Region 19, Mercer women’s soccer has earned a bye into the Region 19 Championship as the #1 seed. The Vikings will host the winner of Essex vs Lackawanna which will be played on October 21st. The Region 19 Championship will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 28th at MCCC.
The Vikings beat Essex 7-2 on September 9th and beat Lackawanna 11-0 on September 30th. Essex and Lackawanna have not yet played each other this season. Lackawanna has only played two games this season and is 0-2. Essex is 1-6 this season and MCCC is 4-5-1. The Vikings have one remaining regular season game on Saturday, October 14th at CCBC-Essex.
The winner of the Region 19 Championship will advance to the District Championship on November 4th at Region 20.
