Wilkins Leads Nation in Steals

Freshman women’s basketball player Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) became Mercer’s first women’s basketball All-American since 2008.  Wilkins finished the 2025-2026 season with the most steals in NJCAA Division II women’s basketball.  Wilkins had 176 steals in 24 games and finished with 39 more steals than the player who had the second most steals in the country.

Wilkins was named First Team All-Region 19 and First Team All GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) following an outstanding rookie season, where she averaged 20.2 points per game an 9.9 rebounds per game along with 7.3 steals per game.
