MCCC freshman women’s basketball player Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) was named an NJCAA All-American. This is the first time a Mercer women’s basketball has earned All-American honors since 2008.
Wilkins led NJCAA Division II in steals finishing the season with 176 steals, 39 more than the next closest player (Dennis from Montgomery College who had 137 steals). Wilkins nearly averaged a double double, averaging 20.2 points per game and 9.9 rebounds per game. Wilkins shot 45.8% from the field and finished the season with 484 points. Wilkins averaged 7.33 steals per game.
The All-American honors caps off a terrific season for Wilkins who also earned First Team All-Region 19 and First Team All Garden State Athletic Conference honors. Wilkins was named a Third Team NJCAA All-American and is one of 40 Division II players to earn this honor.
Wilkins helped lead MCCC women’s basketball to a 20-6 record and a national ranking that reached as high as 14th in the country during the 2025-26 season.
