Women's Basketball Player Wilkins Named Conference Player of the Week
Freshman women’s basketball player Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) was named the GSAC Garden State Athletic Conference) Division II Player of the Week for January 17th-24th. Wilkins had a triple double in Mercer's 94-54 win at Salem with 29 points, ten rebounds and ten steals. Wilkins followed this up with a double double in a 94-23 win at SUNY Orange with 18 points and 15 steals.
On the week, Wilkins averaged 23.5 points per game, 12.5 steals per game and 9 rebounds per game to help the #15 ranked Mustangs move to 14-3 on the season. Wilkins continues to lead Division II in steals and had 25 in two games this week.
