Three MCCC Women's Basketball Players Earn All-GSAC Honors

Three MCCC women’s basketball players earned All-GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) honors.

 

Freshman Evangelina Francisco (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township) earned 1stTeam All GSAC 19 honors.  Francisco averaged 21.9 points per game, fifth most in Division II women’s basketball.  Francisco made the fourth most three-point field goals in the nation with 101.

 

Freshman Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) also earned First Team All-GSAC honors.  Wilkins averaged 20.2 points per game and scored 484 points this season.  Wilkins is first in the nation in steals in Division II women’s basketball with 176 steals.  Wilkins nearly averaged a double double, averaging 9.9 rebounds per game.  Wilkins also averaged 7.3 steals per game.

 

Sophomore Mayah Alford (Levittown, NJ/Trenton Catholic Academy) was named Second Team All-GSAC.  Alford averaged a double double for the season, averaging 15.1 points per game and 11.9 rebounds per game.
