Mercer softball had five players earn First Team All-Region honors for the 2025 season.
Sophomore shortstop Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) hit .475 this season with 77 hits, 40 RBIs, 19 doubles and 19 doubles. O’Dell finished in the top 50 in several categories in NJCAA Division II softball including runs (27th).
Freshman pitcher Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) was 27-4 on the season. Her 27 wins was third best in NJCAA Division II Softball this spring. Sheipe-Warthen pitched 188 innings for the Vikings this spring with a 2.05 ERA and 110 strikeouts.
Sophomore outfielder Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) hit .436 with 68 hits and 59 RBIs. Wyzykowski also scored 46 runs and had 14 doubles and 8 home runs this spring.
Sophomore centerfielder Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) hit .364 with 48 hits and 33 RBIs. Spak also finished the season with 47 runs.
Freshman utility player Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown HS) finished the 2025 season with a .456 batting average, 68 hits, 80 RBIs and 25 home runs and 69 runs. Logan also had 15 home runs and 20 doubles. Her 80 RBIs was 16th best in the nation. Logan is in the top fifty in NJCAA DII softball in runs (27TH), RBIs (16th), home runs (43rd) and doubles (39th).
The Vikings finished the season 43 and reached the NJCAA Division II World Series. The 43 wins sets a program record for wins in a single season. O'Dell and Wyzykowski are two time All-Region First Team selections.
