Seven Softball Players Earn All Conference Honors

Seven MCCC Softball players earned GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) 19 honors for the 2026 season.  Mercer won the Region 19 Championship and finished with a 43-7 record.

Sophomore infielder Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown HS) earned First Team GSAC honors and was also named the GSAC Player of the Year.  Logan was in the top ten in NJCAA DII softball in multiple categories including RBIs with 99 in games.  Logan led DII softball in triples with 11 and was 5^th in doubles with 26.  Logan had 91 hits on the season, 7^th best in the nation and scored 82 runs, 10^th most in the country.  Logan had a .532 batting average which was 8^th best in the nation.

Freshman utility player Ammonie Wertz (Ewing, NJ/Mercer County Tech) also earned First Team All-Region honors.  Wertz split time between catcher and first base and hit this season.  Wertz had a .446 batting average and had 75 hits.

Freshman pitcher Ashlee Haywood (Ewing, NJ/Council Rock North) went in her rookie season.  Haywood had strikeouts and ERA.  Haywood had a 21-3 record with 113 strikeouts in 143 innings pitched and 2.58 ERA.

Sophomore Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had an outstanding season both on the mound and at the plate.  Sheipe-Warthen finished the season with a 20-4 record and 112 strikeouts in 148.1 innings pitched and an 1.98 ERA.  Sheipe-Warthen also had a strong season at the plate hitting .361 batting average, 53 hits and 50 RBIs.

Sophomore outfielder Arianna Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) was named First Team GSAC.  Acevedo had a .424 batting average with 76 runs and 53 hits.  Acevedo had 32 stolen bases, 42 walks and a .571 on base percentage.

Freshman outfielder Jamie Kozarski (Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddon Township) was named First Team ALL GSAC.  Kozarski had 57 hits and a .380 batting average.

Freshman infielder Karisa Krawiec (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) earned Second Team All-GSAC honors.  Krawiec had 64 RBIs, 63 hits and 50 runs in her rookie season and had a .401 batting average.
