Men's and Women's Soccer Prepare for Region Playoffs

Mercer men’s and women’s soccer will begin the Region Playoffs on October 30^th and 31^st.  The women will enter the playoffs as the #2 seed and host #3 Essex on October 30^th at 4:00 PM.  Mercer beat Essex 1-0 on October 4^th after tying Essex on the road 3-3 on September 17^th.  The winner of this game will face the winner of #1 Sussex vs #4 Lackawanna in the Region 19 Championship hosted by MCCC on November 1^st at 11:00 AM.  MCCC women’s soccer is 8-5-4 on the season.

Mercer men’s soccer opens play on October 31^st in the Region Semifinals.  The Mustangs are the top seed and will host #4 seed Lackawanna at 11:00 AM.  Mercer won on the road at Lackawanna on September 13^th and beat Lackawanna 8-0 on October 11^th.  The winner will play the winner of #2 Essex vs #3 Massasoit in the Region 19 Championship at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 1^st.  Mercer men’s soccer is 15-0 on the season and ranked #2 in the country.
