Men's Lacrosse Spring Schedule Announced

Mercer men’s lacrosse 2024 season will get underway on March 2nd and feature eleven regular season games.  Seven of those eleven games will be at home.  The Vikings will open the season vs Hudson Valley CC on March 2nd followed by games against two of the top lacrosse teams in the country.  On March 6th, the Vikings will host Nassau CC, last year’s National Runner Up.  The Vikings follow this with a game at Harford CC on March 9th.  Harford went undefeated last spring and won the NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse National Championship.

 

In March, the Vikings will host Herkimer College of March 23rd and Del Tech CC on March 30th.  Mercer will travel to Williamson Trade on March 13th and Anne Arundel CC on March 19th.  The Vikings will have four games in April starting with an April 3rd game vs Army Prep.  Mercer will host Williamson Trade on April 10th and Sussex CCC on April 13th.  The Vikings beat Sussex to win the Region 19 Championship last spring.

 

The Vikings final game of the 2024 season is at CCBC Essex on April 20th.  CCBC Essex was ranked fourth in the nation the end of the spring and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament.

 

The Vikings will be led by first year Head Coach Ben Whitcraft, who comes to MCCC with an extensive coaching background at both the collegiate and high school level.
