Sophomore men’s tennis player Peyton Miller (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) became the fourth player in MCCC history to become National Champion at 1st Singles. Miller defeated Oxford’s Daniel Bernard 6-3, 6-0 to win the National Championship in the top Singles flight in the National Championhip match at 1st Singles. Miller earned All-American honors with his national title at 1st Singles. Miller finished the 2025 season with a 9-2 record in Singles matches, with his only two losses coming against Division I opponents.
Miller helped lead the Vikings to a 2nd place at the NJCAA Division III National Championship, tying the highest ever finish for Mercer men’s tennis. The National Champion win at 1st Singles closed out a stellar career for Miller at the top flight.
