Six Men's Tennis Players Earn All-Region 19 Honors

All six of MCCC Men’s Tennis players earned All-Region 19 honors in both Singles and Doubles.  Players were named to All-Region teams based on their performance at the Region 19 Championship.

Freshman Joe Zemaitis (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick HS) won 1^st Singles at the Region Championship, earning him 1^st Team All-Region honors.  Freshman Adeleke Oni (Baltimore, MD) was Region Champion at 3^rd Singles giving him 1^st Team All-Region 19 honors at that flight.  Freshman Dylan Stemmer (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) earned 1^st Team All-Region 19 honors as he was Region Champion at 5^th Singles.  Freshman Jose Valencia (Quito, Ecuador) teamed with Zemaitis to win the Region Championship at 1^st Doubles to earn 1^st Team All-Region honors at that flight.

Valencia reached the finals at 2^nd Singles, earning 2^nd Team All-Region honors at that flight.  Freshman Odegoke Oni (Baltimore, MD) reached the finals of 4^th Singles and freshman Christian Ciron (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) reached the finals at 6^th Singles, each earning Second Team All-Region honors in Singles play.  Adeleke and Adegoke Oni reached the finals at 2^nd Doubles and Stemmer and Ciron reached the finals at 3^rd Doubles, earning these four players Second Team All-Region honors in Doubles play.
