Van Den Berg Gets Hat Trick in 6-1 Win vs Monroe

Sophomore men’s soccer player Jesse Van Den Berg (Rhoon, Netherlands/Portus Groene Hart) had a hat trick (three goals in one game) in Mercer’s 6-1 win vs Monroe University on Thursday, September 11^th.  Van Den Berg has helped lead an explosive Mercer offense.  Van Den Berg has five goals in six goals along with two assists.  Van Den Berg’s five goals is 15^th best in NJCAA DII men’s soccer and his twelve points is 23^rd highest in the nation.
