Men's Soccer Sophomores 

 

 

Mercer men’s soccer has seventeen sophomores who will be playing in their final home games at the Region 19 Tournament, following the cancellation of their final regular season home game on October 18^th.  These sophomore have helped MCCC to a 15-0 record this season.

 

Bercel Ban is goalkeeper from Piliscaba, Hungary.  Ban earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year.  Ban is a Business Administration/Global Studies major.

 

Nasim Carpio is a back from Parma, Italy majoring in Information Technology.  Carpio earned All-Region 19 honors last fall.

 

Henrique Fronza is a back from Sao Leopoldo, Brazil majoring in Sports Management.  Fronza earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year.

 

Adrian and Daniel Garcia are brothers from Madrid, Spain and both majoring in Business Administration.  Adrian is a striker and Daniel a midfielder.  Each had 4 goals in one game this season.  Adrian scored his 25^th collegiate goal last weekend.  Adrian has 14 goals this summer, 9^th most in DII men’s soccer.

 

Javier Hernandez is a midfielder from Madrid, Spain majoring in Cybersecurity.  Hernandez has 12 assists this season, 4^th best in the nation.  Hernandez also earned GSAC Conference Player of the Week honors this season.

 

Takumi Hirose is a midfielder from Minuma-Ku, Japan majoring in Business Administration.  Hirose earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year.

 

Yosichika Kainuma is a back from Saituma, Japan majoring in Liberal Arts.

 

Deniz Karcher is a Business Administration major from Heidenheim, German.  Karcher earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year and was the 2024 Region 19 Tournament MVP.

 

Dmytro Naum is a back from Lawrence, New Jersey majoring in Business Administration.

 

Camilo Osorio is a midfielder from Manitales, Columbia majoring in Sports Management.  Osorio earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year.

 

Ignacio Pacheco is a goalkeeper from Cordoba, Argentina majoring in Business Administration.  Pacheco has a 0.48 goals against average, which is 2^nd best in the nation.

 

Enrique Santamaria is a midfielder from Valdemoro, Spain and Business Administration major.

 

Nicolos Silva is a back from Campinas, Brazil majoring in Computer Science.  Nicolas earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year with a 4.0 GPA for both the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

 

Pedro Teixera is a back from Goia, Brazil majoring in Global Studies.

 

Jesse Van Den Berg is a midfielder from Rhoon, Netherlands majoring in Business Administration.  Jesse has nine goals this season and was named GSAC Conference Player of the Week.

 

Riku Yasuda is a midfielder from Ogaki-City, Japan majoring in Business Administration.  Yasuda earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors for the 2024-2025 academic year.
