Mercer men’s soccer is opening the 2025 season ranked 7th in NJCAA Division II soccer in the preseason national poll. Mercer is coming off a season, winning the Region 19 Championship, District Championship and advancing to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.
Mercer opened the 2025 season with a 5-0 win vs Suffolk County CC and a 2-0 win at Harcum and moved up one spot in the national poll to 6th in the nation. Following a 5-0 start, Mercer jumped three spots to third in the DII men's soccer..
While this is very exciting Coach Widmarc Dalce and his team remain focused on improving each game. "The polls are just numbers and fun to look at, but the rankings are not what we are chasing. We are after a chance at the national title."
Coach Dalce and his team remain focused but being ranked the #3 team in the country is impressive and generating a lot of buzz for the historic program which has won eight national titles and made 39 National Tournament appearances. It's great to have Mercer County Community College back in the national spotlight through its men's soccer program.
