The Garcias: NJCAA All-American Brothers

May 24^th was National Brothers Day, which gives us the chance to share about the Garcia brothers, Adrian and Daniel, who were on Mercer men’s soccer team the past two years. Not only were both brothers First Team All-Region players, both brothers were NJCAA All-Americans. 

 

Adrian had 18 goals in 16 games, 10 most in DII men’s soccer and had 9 assists, same amount as his brother.  Adrian has 45 points in the 2026 season, 12^th best in DII men’s soccer.

 

Daniel scored 19 goals in 20 games in 2026, 8^th most in NJCAA DII Men’s Soccer.  Daniel also had 9 assists and finished with 47 points, 8^th best in DII men’s soccer.

 

Adrian was named the Region 19 Player of the Year and earned First Team NJCAA All-American honors.  Daniel was a Second Team NJCAA All-American.

 

The Garcia brothers achieved a lot in two seasons culminating in being named All-Americans in 2026.  Being named an All-American is an impressive individual achievement, even more impressive to have two brothers achieve this honor in the same season.

 

Hope Adrian and Daniel enjoyed National Brothers Day as much as we enjoyed watching these two on the soccer pitch the past two years.
