Mercer County Community College will be hosting the NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse North Atlantic District Championship on April 26th and 27th. The winner of the District will advance to the NJCAA National Championship. Mercer is among four schools competing for the District title with the chance to advance to the National Championship. The other three schools in the North Atlantic District include College of DuPage (2-5) from Illinois, Delaware Tech (5-5) and Nassau Community College (7-1) from New York.
Play begins on the Saturday, April 26th with the Region 19 Runner-Up taking on College of DuPage at 11:00 AM followed by the Region 19 Champion facing Nassau CC at 3:00 PM. The North Atlantic District Championship will be on Sunday, April 27th at 11:00 AM.
Mercer will be travelling to Del Tech for the Region 19 Championship on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM, being played at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex.
The Vikings have played all three possible opponents this season, including Del Tech who they face for the third time in the Region Championship. Mercer beat Del Tech 14-5 on March 19th and again 12-8 on April 16th. The Vikings opened the 2025 season at Nassau, losing 23-3 on March 1st. On April 1st, Mercer lost 10-8 to College of DuPage. Nassau is currently the 2nd ranked team in the county in NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse.
Mercer enters the Region 19 Championship with a 6-6 record.
