Sophomore men’s basketball player Joell Idrovo (Hamilton, NJ/Solebury School) was named an NJCAA All-American for the 2025-2026 season.  Idrovo is the first MCCC men’s basketball player to earn All-American honors since 2019.  Idrovo scored his 1,000th career point and helped lead Mercer men’s basketball to their first Region 19 Championship since 2010.

Idrovo averaged 19.8 points per game and finished the season with 634 points, 13th most in NJCAA Division II men’s basketball.  Idrovo shot 49.3% from the field and 85% from the free throw line.  Idrovo made 84 three-point field goals in 32 games this season.

Idrovo helped lead MCCC men’s basketball to their first Region 19 Championship since 2010.  After starting the 2025-26 season 0-8, Idrovo helped Mercer turn their season around and finish with a 20-12 record.

The All-American honor caps off a great two year career for Idrovo.  In addition to being named First Team All Region 19 and First Team GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference), Idrovo was named both the Region 19 and GSAC Player of the Year.  Idrovo was also named the Region 19 Tournament MVP.
