Men's Basketball Player Idrovo Named Conference Player of the Week
Sophomore men’s basketball player Joell Idrovo (Hamilton, NJ/Solebury School) was named the GSAC Garden State Athletic Conference) Division II Player of the Week for January 17th-24th.
Joell Idrovo had 31 points in Mercer's 85-80 win at Morris, their 8th straight win. In that win Idrovo made 5 three point field goals and shot 76% from the field. In Mercer's loss at SUNY Orange Idrovo had 18 points, was a perfect 7 for 7 from the free throw, had no turnovers, four steals and 3three assists. For the week, Idrovo averaged 24.5 points and helped the Mustangs reach .500 in Region play for the first time this season.
