Sophomore baseball player Jake Pope (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) got his 100th career hit in Mercer’s 12-2 win vs Brookdale on April 9th. Pope went 2 for 4 in the win and got an RBI. In the 2025 season, Pope is batting .321 with 36 hits in 33 games. Pope has 25 stolen bases this season which is 19th best in NJCAA Division II Baseball.
In the 2024 season, Pope batted .402 and finished with 66 hits. Pope also had 38 RBIs, 42 runs and 16 stolen bases in 49 games.
