Softball Player Patel Named GSAC Player of the Week

Freshman softball player Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) has been named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for the week ending March 19th. In 6 games last week, the designated player had 5 home runs including a grand slam and 13 RBIs. Patel is batting .477 with a .510 OBP (on base percentage) and slugging percentage over 1.0 (1.023). The big bat of Patel has helped the Vikings win five in a row and to a 9-3 record overall.
