Men's Soccer Player Alou Named GSAC Player of the Week

Freshman men’s soccer player Gamby Alou (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) has been named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for September 11th-16th. Alou scored a goal in the final minutes of Mercer's game at Carroll CC to give the Vikings a 2-1 win. The win helped the Vikings to reach the .500 mark for the first time this season. Alou has been battling injuries and missed Mercer's previous three games and has been limited to six games this season. Alou's game-winning goal vs Carroll is what the Vikings need as they head into the final stretch of the season and make a push for the postseason.
