Baseball's Maldonado Named GSAC Pitcher of the Week
Freshman Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for March 30th-April 5th.
In a 4-3 victory against Delaware Tech, Maldonado struck out nine batters over five innings, improving his record to 5-0 for the season. His impressive performance contributed to the Vikings maintaining their undefeated status in regional play and winning their series against Del Tech. Maldonado has 25 strikeouts in 29.1 innings pitched with a 2.15 ERA.
