Baseball Player Gallagher Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore baseball player Donny Gallagher (Stockton, NJ/South Hunterdon) has been named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for March 23rd-29th. Gallagher had an impressive week, going 10 for 16 at the plate, with eight RBIs, six runs, and three home runs. In Mercer's 18-11 victory over Salem, the Vikings were ahead 12-11 as they entered the top of the ninth inning when Gallagher hit a grand slam, securing the win for Mercer. Gallagher also hit two home runs and went 3 for 4 in the Vikings' 12-2 win against Sussex. Overall, Gallagher batted .625 last week, as the Vikings went a perfect a 5-0.
