Getting to Know Athletic Director  Eric Grundman

4/11/24

In honor of National Golfers’ Day, MCCC Athletics is going to share a little about new Athletic Director Eric Grundman, who coached Men’s and Women’s Golf for six seasons while he was at Marywood University from 2013-2019.

Grundman won multiple coaching awards including 2019 Atlantic East Women’s Coach of the Year, 2018 Landmark Conference Women’s Coach of the Year, and 2015 CSAC (Colonial States Athletic Conference) Men’s Coach of the Year.  Grundman led the 2015 men’s golf team to a top 20 national ranking, the highest ranking for any team or sport in Marywood University history.  The men’s golf team were CSAC Champions in 2015 and 2016.

In addition to coaching golf at Marywood, Grundman coached men’s basketball for 12 years and also served as Assistant Athletic Director for Marywood from October 2001-April 2019.

Although MCCC does not have a golf team, the Athletic Department runs an annual golf outing every October to benefit MCCC student athletes and we look forward to Grundman leading the 2024 Annual MCCC Golf Classic.

MCCC Athletics is grateful for our new leader and former golf coach Eric Grundman and the great deal of athletic and coaching experience he brings with him to lead our student athletes.

Happy Golfer’s Day!
