MCCC Athletics Hosts First Ever All-Region and All-Conference Night

On Wednesday, April 10th, MCCC Athletics hosted its first ever All Region/All Conference Night at men’s lacrosse game vs Williamson Trade.  The night recognized all student athletes who earned All-Region 19, All-Conference or Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Player of the Week honors in the past year.

 

The following student athletes were announced for their honors at halftime of the game:

 

Men’s Soccer:

All-Region 19: Dillion Du Toit, Omolemo Matla, Teddy Nkamanyi

Region Coach of Year: Widmarc Dalce

Region 19 Tournament Offensive MVP: Teddy Nkamanyi

Region 19 Defensive MVP: Dillon Du Toit

GSAC Players of the Week: Alou Gamby, Lesedi Hlabeli, Felipe Nazario, Teddy Nkamanyi

 

Women’s Soccer:

All Region 19: Laura Kucharz, Fiona Madigan, Annika Maringer, Celina Oliveira

GSAC Players of the Week: Laura Kucharz, Fiona Madigan, Annika Maringer, Celina Oliveira

 

Men’s Basketball:

All Region 19: Izaiah Johnson, Jason Mark

GSAC Players of the Week: Justin Carbone, Jason Mark

 

Softball:

All Region 19 2023: Shea Krebs

All Conference 2023: Maya Patel and Shea Krebs

GSAC Players of the Week 2024: Cierra Acevedo, Izzy Bonacci, Shea Krebs, Kelci O’Dell

 

Baseball:

GSAC Players of the Week 2024: Joe Gmitter, Matteo Mannino, Torin McKenzie, Collin Williams

 

Lacrosse:

All Region 19 and All Conference 2023: Izzy Miranda, Braden Travaglini

 

Despite a loss by the lacrosse team, the night brought together MCCC student athletes to celebrate their hard work and success over the past year.
