Four MCCC Teams Earn NJCAA All-Academic Teams

Another academic record for MCCC for the 2024-2025 academic year was that four teams earned NJCAA All-Academic honors for having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.  Each player on these teams’ rosters had their GPAs entered as part of the criteria of the award.  Even if players were here for just one semester (soccer players for just the fall or tennis players for just the spring), their GPAs had to be entered to calculate the team’s overall GPA.   Men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis were the four MCCC teams to hear this national honor.

Not only did these teams excel academically, but athletically as well.  Men’s tennis were NJCAA National Runner-Ups and Region 19 Champions.  Men’s soccer were Northeast District and Region 19 Champions and advanced to the NJCAA Division II National Championship.  Women’s soccer were Region 19 Champions.  Women’s tennis had their highest ever finish at the NJCAA Division I National Championship.
