Men's Basketball Hits the Court Running with Start of Fall Semester

The 2023 fall semester began at Mercer County Community College on Tuesday, September 5 th.  We caught up with returning players from the men's basketball returning players as they shared their majors, where they are from and what they want to be when they "grow up."

Isham McClain (Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton HS) and Kristian Smith (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) are both Engineering Science majors. McClain wants to be an Automotive Engineer while Smith wants to be a Mechanical Engineer.  Anthony Rhodes (Trenton, NJ/Nottingham) is a Psychology major who wants to be a Therapist or Counselor.  Izaiah Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Burlington City) is studying Cybersecurity while teammate Jason Marks (Broward, FL/Blanche Ely) is a Business Administration major.

With these five returning sophomores two are players from Mercer County, one from Burlington County, one from Philadelphia and one from Florida.  Whether you are planning to major in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Engineering Science or Psychology, Mercer is the place for you, as MCCC offers over 80 majors/concentrations.  From the court to the classroom, there is something for everyone!
