Myrtle Beach, SC -

Mercer softball won their second game in Myrtle Beach, beating Genesse, NY 14-3.  Freshman Dana Knapp (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs, a home run and triple and freshman Courtney Whittaker (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) also had a big day at the plate, going 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, 3 runs and a home run.  Sophomore Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 RBIs, sophomore Morgan Cullen (Bristol, PA/Bristol) was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, 2 runs and an RBI and sophomore Alyssa Bauer (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) was 2 for 4 with 2 runs and a double.  Sophomore pitcher Stacie Dennuci (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan) moved to 3-0 on the season, throwing 4 shutout innings.
