Mercer men's soccer (4-2-2) got a big Region win, edging Essex in overtime 3-2.  Sophomore Jared Rogers (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) scored the first Viking' goal in the second half.  Sophomore Guilherme Franca (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Amorim) netted the second Viking goal with less than ten minutes in the game to force the game into overtime.  Freshman Vladik Margolin (Shlomi, Israel/Sulam Tzur) scored the game winner on a penalty kick early in overtime to give the Vikings the 3-2 win.
