Mercer men's basketball opened its 2018-2019 season with a 65-96 loss to Sullivan County in the NY Invitational. Sophomore John Evans (Camden, NJ/Camden) had a team-high 19 points and five steals in 36 minutes of play. Sophomore forward Adnan Bajrami (Jackson, NJ/Cypress Lakes) posted a double-double, with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman guard Letrell Randall (Clearwater, FL/Clearwater) scored eight points in the loss.
