Mercer Cares Telethon - Friday, December 14, 2007

Thanks to the generosity of local Mercer County residences and businesses, the first ever telethon to grace the airwaves of MCTV-26 was a huge success, raising over $2,300 for charity in just over five hours.

The large scale production, which students began planning in late August, raised funds for one of the county's largest charities, Mercer Street Friends. Mercer County College television students helped the non-profit organization celebrate its 50th anniversary with the event.
