On Friday, May 9 MCTV-26 and Mercer County Community College proudly hosted the third annual Bernie Awards.at the Mercer Conference Center in West Windsor, NJ.

The Bernies is a short-movie competition open to MCCC students enrolled in CMN242. "Alex", a short film by Nick Donnoli and Sam Kanig won Best Picture.

The movies are first judged by the faculty who select four finalists. The finalists are then sent out to approximately 10 media professionals who score each one. The movie with the highest average wins Best Picture.
