Michelle Robinson Awarded Scholarship

West Windsor, N.J. - Mercer County Community College student Michelle
Robinson of Ewing is the recipient of $1,500 scholarship from the
Philanthropic Educational Organization, known as PEO International.
Established in 1869, the nationwide program supports the advancement
of women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship,
motivating them to achieve their highest aspirations.
Robinson's scholarship stems from P.E.O.'s Progress for Continuing
Education Program, which provides need-based grants to women whose
education has been interrupted, and who find it necessary to return
to school to support themselves and/or their families.

Married
and the mother of five, Robinson is a first-year Liberal Arts student
at MCCC who also works full-time for the NJ Commission on Higher Education.
She plans to transfer to Rider University upon graduation to continue
her studies in counseling. Her ultimate career goal is to become a Christian
guidance counselor.
The scholarship was presented by Vickie Wheeler of Stockton, an area volunteer
with PEO International.
