Latina Women's Council Awards Six
Scholarships

The Latina Women's Council of Mercer County has presented six $1,000
scholarships to incoming Mercer County Community College students.

Rosanna Zee Serpa, Johanna Quezada, and Janelsey Lopez, Council Secretary
Esther Velesquez, scholarship recipient Marielena Santiago, Council

row are Council member Ondina Jeffers and Vice President Rose-Angel
Rivera. The sixth recipient, not pictured, is Stefani Penafiel.
The Council
hosted a variety of fundraising events to raise scholarship dollars,
including a Trenton Thunder game and a Women's History Month breakfast.
