West Windsor, NJ: This summer Mercer County Community College is offering multiple sessions for greater scheduling flexibility. Students may choose credit sessions of six weeks, eight weeks, 10 weeks or 11 weeks, with starting dates of May 21, June 1, June 18, July 5. Online courses are also available.
The college offers classes at the West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road, the downtown Trenton campus at North Broad and Academy Streets, and through MercerOnline, whose student population has been growing rapidly. This summer, MercerOnline is offering an increased number of courses, most appropriate for highly motivated learners.
Mercer welcomes students of all ages and stages of life. Students who are home for the summer from other colleges can earn transferable credits, easing their future work load and saving dollars on tuition costs. Qualified high school students are also welcome to take classes to explore their interests and earn college credits at Mercer.
Adults of all ages often attend summer classes to sharpen their skills or begin the journey to a new career. Others take the opportunity to pursue interests in foreign languages, photography, music or the visual arts.
Mercer offers 70 associate degree programs and numerous certificate programs in career areas with projected job growth, including education, business, law enforcement, entertainment technology, exercise science, and the health professions. New at the college are programs in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandizing offered at the downtown Trenton campus.
Through the University Center at Mercer, students who complete their associate degree are eligible to transfer into bachelor’s degree programs offered right at Mercer’s West Windsor Campus through William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Felician College.
