1126-08 Espagnol The series of noncredit classes begins January 14 with 10 weeks of Pronouncing American English. Taught by JoAnn Ficca, a speech-language specialist, classes will take place Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9: 30 p.m. Six-week sessions of ESL (English a Second Language): Writing & Speaking Skills, with MCCC instructor Ozana Castellano, a communications specialist, will run January 20 - February 24 and February 26 April 2. Classes will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. For jobseekers, Castellanos Workplace Communication Skills for Non-Native Speakers, will run Tuesdays April 7 May 12 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For those interested in learning the basics of personal finance management, CURSO En Espanol! Principles of Financial Planning and Investing for Spanish-Speakers, will be a taught by certified financial planner Maria Juega, April 29 May 20. The four-week course will provide a foundation for understanding fundamental concepts of money management, how to organize your personal finances and invest profitably in financial assets.
