He volunteers his time to assist senior citizens in completing medical claims, is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and belongs to the American Legion.

Partner in Learning Awardee, WZBN TV, the cable television station for Mercer County, has covered events and news at MCCC since 1993, and regularly broadcasts interviews with college faculty and staff.  The station has hired many student interns and graduates over the years, and two are currently employed there. For six years WZBN has offered an annual $1,000 scholarship for M CCC graduates planning to continue their education in broadcasting.

Corporate Partner Awardee, SES, is the world’s premiere satellite provider. The company has continued to choose MCCC’s Center for Training and Development (CTD) to provide training programs for its employees.  For more than a decade the CTD has trained SES employees worldwide, including at sites in New Jersey, Washington D.C., the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The Open House showcased the college’s programs and services and celebrated academic achievement. As part of the program, President Donohue presented her annual report to the community, highlighting the year's successes and major accomplishments, including approval for a major Solar Farm on campus.
