DIRECT HEALTH CARE PROVIDER COURSE

New course being offered through the Non-Credit Division of Mercer County Community College.  This course will prepare participants in just 15 weeks for the state exam as a C.N.A and/or H.H.A.

The State approved curriculum includes 3 courses, offered in Fall and Spring.  Participants seeksing certification in both areas must take all 3 courses:

• Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (U.A.P.)
• Home Health Aide (preparation for H.H.A. certification)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preparation for C.N.A. certification)

Prerequisites are:

• High School Diploma
• Clear understanding of written and spoken English
• Proof of immunizations
• Background check and finger printing
